Their story

They’ve been friends from way back and when Mandy decided to open this dinner store she knew that she needed Tara to run it (she’s a foodie). They’ve been open since July 10, 2007. So why is Tara, The Smart One and Mandy, The Pretty One?

After just 15 days open, Tara went out on maternity leave. Hours after her C-section, with IV drugs still pumping, Tara called the store frantic that the wrong tomato sauce was being used on the Pepperoni Amore station to which Mandy responded, “We have two different tomato sauces?” Tara came back from maternity leave after only 5 weeks.

So Tara knows everything about Dinner a Go-Go and Mandy knows…..well, very little.  Most of the laughter that rips through the store every day is caused by Mandy’s ineptitude in the kitchen. One day Tara (bless her heart) asked Mandy a question having to do with food and/or the preparation of it…dazed and confused, Mandy blurted out, “What are you asking me for? I’m the pretty one”…the girls are still laughing about it and from that day on, Tara became The Smart One and Mandy, The Pretty One.
